DevOps Engineer

About the Project

‍

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support a cloud-native SaaS platform running on Kubernetes. The system includes backend services, worker processes, databases, queues, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and multiple environments for development, staging, and production.

The infrastructure stack includes AWS, EKS, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, PostgreSQL/RDS, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry. The role requires strong spoken English for incident reviews, technical planning, and regular communication with international engineering teams.

What You Will Do

‍

• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based environments for backend services and worker applications.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for build, test, security checks, deployment, rollback, and environment promotion.
• Support observability with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, and actionable incident signals.
• ‍Work with AWS services such as EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and networking components.
• Improve reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, backup routines, and deployment safety.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot production issues, performance problems, and release failures.

What We Are Looking For

‍

• 4+ years of commercial DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and production-grade containerised deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience with AWS and core cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, and managed database services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Good understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and reliability practices.
• Strong spoken English - B2+ or higher for discussing incidents, architecture, and operational risks with international teams.

Nice to Have

‍

• Experience with Argo CD, GitOps, Kustomize, or progressive delivery tools.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Jaeger, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with security hardening, secrets management, and cloud cost optimisation.
• Experience supporting SaaS products with multiple environments and production SLAs.
